　　颜检（1757—1832年），字惺甫，号岱山，又号岱云，别号槎客，广东连平县元善镇人，乾隆二十二年（1757年）生于山东泰安，巡抚颜希深子，拔贡生出身。

　　乾隆四十二年（1777年），颜检以拔贡生朝考入选一等，初授礼部七品小京官，再升仪制司员外郎、御前校射。此后连丁母忧、父忧，十二年后才升任主事。

　　颜希深（1729年—1780年），字若愚，号静山，又号浚溪，广东连平县元善镇人，贡生出身。

　　颜希深是落户连平颜氏的第五代，生于雍正七年（1729年）。母亲何氏出身书香门第，秉性慈惠，知书达理，嫁与颜氏后因家庭困难，常以种桑织麻供子读书。
